Concentrating on electric buses may cost us solutions of the future
Electric buses are great - particularly if they beat the "open class" competition. However, we must not miss other, and maybe even better, solutions.
The bus park in Oslo is about to be electrified, and a considerable number of electric buses will soon be a part of public transport. There are lots of reasons to be happy for that. But if we limit ourselves to go for electricity exclusively we may miss even better solutions, Gunnar S. Eskeland and Malin Arve write.
Their chronicle Elbuss-satsing kan koste oss fremtidens løsninger (in Norwegian) was published in Dagens Næringsliv on September 3, 2019.
