Elisa Casi
Elisa Casi recently joined the Department of Business and Management Science as an Assistant Professor.
Elisa Casi is originally from Italy. She holds a BSc in International Finance from Bocconi University and a MSc in Management from the University of Mannheim. During her studies, she spent a semester at Bilkent University (Turkey) and gained professional experience in the field of financial controlling and private equity. In 2020, she obtained her PhD in Business at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences from the University of Mannheim. During her PhD, she has been visiting scholar at the Questrom School of Business (Boston University).
Overall, her research focuses on international taxation, especially on the determinants and consequences of information disclosure on individual and corporate tax compliance. Her research on the effectiveness of the automatic exchange of information on financial accounts has been recently published at the Journal of Public Economics.
