Celebrating Women on International Women’s Day
On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the achievements of women everywhere. We also honor the women in our research community, recognizing their contributions to academia and beyond. This day is a time to reflect on progress, raise awareness about gender equality, and continue advocating for women’s rights.
Currently, 38 women are affiliated with FAIR, including researchers, administrative staff, and external affiliates. They play a crucial role in shaping the centre’s academic and organizational diversity, along with many other co-authors and collaborators around the world.
FAIR actively promotes gender balance and diversity in economics, particularly through initiatives such as the Women in Economics Network (WomEN). The centre is committed to increasing the representation of women in top academic positions and fostering a more inclusive research environment.
To gain deeper insights into the work we do at FAIR, read quotes from FAIR researchers, colleagues from the Department of Economics at NHH, and the Head of Administration at FAIR.

Anna HochleitnerPostdoctoral Fellow, SNF/FAIR - The Choice Lab My research aims to understand perceptions and consequences of social inequalities. In one project, we study how biases in recommendation letters shape career opportunities for men and women by affecting hiring decisions in subtle but impactful ways. |
