Christian Langerfeld is an Associate Professor of Digital Text Analysis at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). His research centers on professional and specialized communication, employing corpus linguistics and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to analyze textual data from business-related domains.
Recently, he has focused on examining meeting transcripts of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), exploring the roles of humor and interruptions in meeting interactions.
He has held his current position since 2022 and earned his PhD from the University of Bergen.
