NHH Professor Eirik Sjåholm Knudsen has become an Excellent Teaching Practitioner.
Eirik Sjåholm Knudsen is Professor in Strategy at the Department of Strategy and Management / DIG / STOP, and Academic Director of the EMBA specialisations in Strategic Management and in Technology and Innovation of Finance at NHH.
Knudsen’s research circles around understanding why some firms perform better than others, and how managers can transform this knowledge into better decisions. Within this broad scope, he works with a range of more specific questions related to strategy, innovation, external shocks, human capital, technology, entrepreneurship, and platforms and networks.
His work has appeared in journals such as Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Industrial and Corporate Change, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Human Resource Management Review, Journal of Business Research, Tourism Management, and more. He has also co-authored “Strategiboken”, a textbook on strategy.
