The Research Council of Norway has introduced "Curious Norway," a podcast series hosted by Kristopher Schau that offers in-depth conversations with the country's foremost scientists. Each episode provides a window into the personal stories and pioneering work of these researchers, all of whom lead Centres of Excellence—a funding scheme by the Research Council supporting groundbreaking and internationally leading research in Norway.
The series debuted on February 3 and is accessible on all major podcast platforms and forskning.no. Listeners can look forward to 12 episodes released every Monday through April 21. The first episode features a discussion with Alexander Wright Cappelen and Bertil Tungodden from FAIR, focusing on people's perceptions of fairness. In the second episode, Schau visits Edvard and May-Britt Moser at the Centre for Neural Computation to explore the brain's inner workings.
Through "Curious Norway," the Research Council aims to make cutting-edge scientific research more accessible and engaging to the public, highlighting the individuals driving innovation and discovery across various fields.
