Elected as a REStud Editorial Board Member
Alexander L.P. Willén has been elected as an Editorial Board Member of The Review of Economic Studies and will start his term in January.
As a newly elected Editorial Board Member of The Review of Economic Studies, Alexander L.P. Willén will take on two key responsibilities.
He will be required to referee a reasonable number of papers, providing up to 12 reports annually, and will conduct initial screening for a few additional submissions.
He will play a significant role in the journal’s governance. The Editorial Board is responsible for discussing the journal’s strategic direction, with members convening once a year to review its progress. Participation is considered a vital duty for all board members.
Willén’s term will begin in January, initially lasting for two years, with the possibility of two further renewals, each for an additional three years.
The Review of Economic Studies is one of the top five journals in economics and the most visible in Europe. Membership on its board is widely regarded as a mark of academic excellence. Moreover, the board serves as a primary pool for selecting future managing editors.
