Microeconomics. An ABC in 1-2-3
Kjetil Bjorvatn has released a new textbook in microeconomics.
Kjetil Bjorvatn's book: «Mikroøkonomi. En ABC på 1-2-3» ("Microeconomics. An ABC in 1-2-3" ) was released this week by Fagbokforlaget.
The textbook, which is in Norwegian and targets Bachelor students, differs from most other textbooks by telling a story. Filled with a gallery of characters, drawings, situations, and dialogues, the book is designed to give life to the text and create a closeness to the theory, which many early year students may otherwise find a bit abstract and frightening.
Kjetil Bjorvatn is a professor of economics at the Norwegian School of Economics and leader of the FAIR Insight Team. Bjorvatn has won several awards for his teaching, including the students' lecturer award, the Bronze Sponge, for his bachelor's course in microeconomics, most recently in the spring of 2020.
