FAIR at AEA Annual Meeting 2021
FAIR researchers presenting at the Annual Meeting for the American Economic Association.
For economists, the semester always kicks off with the most important conference of the year, the Annual Meeting for the American Economic Association. The conference assembles over 13 000 of the best minds in economics to network and celebrates new findings in their shared and beloved field.
This year FAIR is well represented at the conference. Tomorrow Bertil Tungodden is participating in a panel discussion about field experiments in early childhood education and care. The paper “Not Wanting or Not Knowing? A behavioral Intervention to Promote Applications for Universal Child Care Among Disadvantaged Families” co-authored by Henning Hermes will also be presented at this session. Kjell Salvanes is participating in a panel discussion about parenthood, policy, and labour market outcomes. While Laura Khoury is presenting her paper “Entitled to leave: the Impact of Unemployment Insurance Eligibility on Employment Duration and Job Quality” at a paper session about labour force exit.
