6th Spring School in San Diego
The 6th Spring School in Behavioural Economics started sunday night and is happening at University of California San Diego Rady School of Management this week. The Spring School is a collaboration between Professor Uri Gneezy at Rady School of Management and Professors Alexander Cappelen and Bertil Tungodden at FAIR-The Choice Lab.
The programme of the Spring School is available at the webpage and pictures are posted to Facebook every day.
The first day of the Spring School had a very exiting programme. The day started with welcome from the host Professor Uri Gneezy and an introduction of all the participants. Anna Dreber Almenberg (Stockholm School of Economics) spoke of transparency in research and later led the informal discussion on the same topic. There were also lectures by Gary Charness (University of California, Santa Barbara), Shachar Kariv (University of California, Berkeley) and Richard Thaler (University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Nobel Laureate). The first day ended with the first of two poster sessions.
The next days there will be many more lectures, another poster session and the Spring School finishes off with the famous karaoke night.
