A new expert committee will evaluate Norwegian power supply and the electricity grid. NHH Professor Mette H Bjørndal is appointed member of the expert group.

The report will be published as an Official Norwegian Report (NOU) in 2022. Nils Kristian Nakstad will head the expert committee.

– During the process on the Report to the Storting, I have received several suggestions about grid capacity and the time it takes to build a new power grid. We appoint this committee in order to find solutions for grid development that will be better adapted to today's challenges, says Minister of Petroleum and Energy Tina Bru (in Norwegian).
