Møen Appointed to Nordic Tax Research Council
The Ministry of Finance has appointed Professor Jarle Møen as Norwegian member of The Nordic Tax Research Council.
In September, Professor Jarle Møen was appointed as Norwegian member of The Nordic Tax Research Council.
The council was established by a treaty between the Nordic Countries in 1973 and has three members from each country. The purpose is to improve Nordic cooperation within research on tax law and tax economy.
The council grants funding for external research projects, arranges an annual conference and publish the Nordic Tax Journal. Deadline for project applications is each year on 1 April and 1 October.
Jarle Møen is Vice Head of the Norwegian Centre for Taxation and Head of the Department of Business and Management Science at NHH.
