Christer A. Flatøy holds a master's degree in Administration and Organizational Science from the University of Bergen and a PhD in Human Resources from the Norwegian School of Economics. His research is focused on HRM, interim management, and how organizations are designed, including electronic monitoring, and their impact employees. He is responsible for NHH's Organization theory course, regularly teaches in Strategic HR and Methodology for the master thesis, supervise master students, and is co-chair for the Executive program for interim managers.
Christer André Flatøy has spent years studying freelancers and their experiences. His latest project, focusing on the alliance model, explores a unique organizational structure designed to address some of the uncertain conditions freelancers face.
