Join us for a two-day event bringing together researchers, students, administrative staff, municipalities and regions, NGOs, businesses, and industry partners to explore and collaborate on solutions for a fair and inclusive transition.

Programme
Monday 7 April	Informal welcome reception in the evening.
Tuesday 8 April	First ENGAGE.EU collaboration meetings and NHH Innovation Lab event
Morning	Partner institutions and associate partners meet at the NHH campus to discuss and collaborate on strategies for effective partnerships.
Afternoon	Navigating the Green Transition This event will explore how governmental bodies at various levels can effectively secure and maintain public support for critical climate adaptation measures, addressing potential resistance while mitigating social tensions. Through case studies and best practices, participants will gain insight into effective communication strategies, inclusive stakeholder engagement, and robust policymaking approaches. By fostering shared knowledge, cooperation, and mutual understanding, the goal is to navigate challenges, minimize conflict, and ensure a fair and equitable transition that upholds societal trust and long-term social cohesion. Collaboration Circle Workshop A hands-on session for invited participants to foster innovative approaches to shared goals.
Evening	Dinner at Fløirestauranten
Wednesday 9 April	NHH Innovation Lab event and second ENGAGE.EU collaboration meeting
Morning	Business and Human Rights in the Blue Economy The session is open to all OneOcean Week participants. With shipping as an example particularly relevant to Bergen, experts discuss best practices and challenges in ensuring fair and ethical global commerce.
Afternoon	ENGAGE.EU partner institutions meet to consolidate insights and chart pathways for ongoing collaboration. Separate program for associate partners.
