Responsible AI in Norwegian Practice – Insights from Industry Leaders

As AI transforms from experimental pilots to core enterprise infrastructure, the challenge shifts from "how to build" to "how to govern". In this round table discussion, we will present and discuss findings from a deep-dive case study led by Ass. Prof. Jonas Hammerschmidt, involving four of Norway’s leading organizations and DIG partners: Telenor, Gjensidige, KPMG, and Equinor.

We have observed that Digital and Sustainability departments are no longer operating in silos; instead, they are becoming fundamentally interwoven. A core highlight will be a breakdown of the challenges identified in the study—specifically how to align AI scaling with compliance frameworks and the future of digital and sustainability roles. The session will move beyond theoretical ethics to share practical frameworks and real-world hurdles identified during the research.

You will gain a firsthand look at how these diverse organizations are managing Responsible AI. In this round table, we will discuss the future outlook on strategy and organizational structure, and plan to include live demonstrations on Responsible AI by industry partners.
