    ONLINE EXCHANGE INITIATIVE

    For spring 2025, the application period will be 25 November - 15 December 2024 (23:59 CET). More information coming soon.

    ENGAGE.EU Online Exchange grants master's students at NHH the opportunity to partake in digital courses at one or several Engage universities. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a virtual and international classroom, and exchange opinions and ideas with other European students.

    Master's students who have not yet gone on exchange, or wishes to take additional elective courses, can apply to take courses through Engage. Students can apply to take one or several courses at any of the Engage universities simultaneously. 

    Students must apply directly to each school before the deadline each semester, and to the Section for International Relations for pre-approval of courses.

    Are you a master student looking to expand your knowledge in digital strategy, growth, and leadership? Admission is now open for the ENGAGE.EU alliance’s Joint Programme in Digital Transformation» - a series of mini courses with innovative perspectives on digital transformation, taught in an international environment. The program consists of online courses from January to May 2025, concluding with an in-presence summer school in Mannheim in July 2025.

    Students can choose from eight different courses from ENGAGE.EU partners (Université Toulouse Capitole, Luiss University, Tilburg University, University of National and World Economy in Sofia, WU Wien, Ramon Llull University and University of Mannheim).

    Do you want to gain international experience from home? NHH has developed two new master courses in collaboration with ENGAGE.EU partner universities. These are new, interdisciplinary, international courses that are taught online, with students from all over Europe. The courses can be included as electives in Msc in Economics and Business administration.

    NHH students can apply to participate in these ENGAGE.EU Signature courses in the autumn semester 2025. If you want to find out more about your online opportunities, go to the ENGAGE.EU Course catalogue.

    Join Us for an Unforgettable Experience!

    Are you ready to address today’s most pressing societal challenges while developing skills to lead tomorrow’s world? The ENGAGE.EU Student Conference invites students from across our 9 partner universities to Sofia for a transformative 3-day event. In this conference organised by the Board of Learners, you will learn how to improve your debate skills while getting to know other European realities and cultures. The experience will end with a real life formal debate to put into practice everything learned.

    Key Dates & Application

    • Application Opens: January 15th, 2025
    • Application Closes: February 5th, 2025
    • Selection announcement: February 9th, 2025.

    Applicant students should demonstrate motivation and enthusiasm through a short (max 1-minute) motivational video and complete an application form detailing their background and interest. It is expected to receive 5 students from each university, totalling 45 students across 9 partner institutions

    Are you a bachelor student and have completed at least 60 ECTS credits?

    This ENGAGE.EU Winter School Studium Oecologicum – Current Issues in Sustainability is an intensive, two-week Winter programme with a mix of virtual and in-presence elements for bachelor’s students from all fields of studies, hosted by the University of Mannheim in January 2025.  

    The overall aim of the Winter School – Current Issues in Sustainability is to provide you with state of the art knowledge and skills on the topic of sustainability across Europe. Interdisciplinary academic exchange and intercultural experiences are central elements of the programme. In line with the general ENGAGE.EU goals, you will be equipped with hard and soft skills needed to tackle societal challenges and act as responsible future leaders.

    Are you a bachelor-level student and have completed at least 90 ECTS credits? Or are you a master-level student?

    The ENGAGE.EU Winter School Law & Policy for the Anthropocene is an intensive 10-days winter programme for graduate and advanced undergraduate students in law, public administration, political science, public policy, and international relations, hosted by Tilburg University in January 2025.

    The overall aim of the Winter School on Law & Policy for the Anthropocene is to train students in the multiple and overlapping socio-ecological challenges of the Anthropocene, including: the climate crisis and corresponding energy transition; global patterns of deforestation and the rapid decline in biodiversity; the accumulation of and pollutive harm associated with plastics, pesticides and ‘forever chemicals’; economic priorities, demanding holistic analyses of both the obstacles preventing sufficient action and the question of distributive justice associated with potential solutions. Students will be introduced to the state of the art of governance proposals for tackling these challenges, including climate reparations or Loss & Damage funds, genetic and geo-engineering technologies, and 30×30 global conservation targets.
