Evelina Lucas is a PhD Research Scholar at the Department of Professional and Intercultural Communication at NHH Norwegian School of Economics. Her research interests include discourse analysis, corporate communication, intercultural business communication, and Business English as a Lingua Franca. 

She holds a master's degree in applied linguistics with the University of Birmingham, UK with the thesis on metaphor in blockchain discourse.

A certified ESL teacher, prior to her position at NHH Evelina had been teaching academic and business English at all levels in Italy, Switzerland and the UK.
