Historical Inequality and Mobility in Norway
On Friday 29 November 2024 Eirik Berger Abel will hold a trial lecture on a prescribed topic and defend his thesis for the PhD degree at NHH.
Eirik's research lies in the intersection between modern Labor Economics and Economic History. In particular, he focuses on answering long-standing questions about the development of inequality and mobility going back in time. He uses natural experiments to estimate causal effects with novel historical datasets.
