Dorotea is a PhD research scholar in Strategy and Management at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). Her research focuses on strategic change and organizational renewal, with a particular emphasis on how companies transform themselves to align with sustainability goals. She is particularly interested in the role of boards of directors in initiating, implementing, and championing strategic initiatives that drive long-term transformation. Using a qualitative, longitudinal approach, she explores the practices through which board members influence strategic change, navigate organizational challenges, and drive renewal efforts.

Prior to her PhD, she earned an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from NHH, with a major in Strategy and Management, and a BSc in International Economics and Finance from Bocconi University. Her previous research includes work on sustainability in management education and business model innovation.
