USA wants to learn from DIG
Professor Tor W Andreassen represented DIG at the POMS College of Service Operations member engagement spring event.
Friday 25 March Professor Tor W Andreassen on behalf of DIG was invited to participate in POMS College of Service Operations’ international roundtable discussion with the directors of three other well-known research centers.
The purpose of the meeting was to exchange ideas and to learn what the research centers are doing, their research agenda, the composition of faculty members, the business model, and the link to companies.
The other participants were:
- Roland Rust, Distinguished University Professor, Executive Director, Center for Excellence in Service located at the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business.
- Professor Rupert Younger, Director, Oxford University Centre for Corporate Reputation at Oxford University’s Said school of business.
- Professor Thomas Hollman, Center for Service Leadership at Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey school of business.
Dr. Ben Lawrence, Georgia State University, Chair of the member engagement committee and VP of Programs at the POMS College of Service Operations, moderated the session.
