Norwegian Open AI LAB 5th anniversary
This year, DIG partner Norwegian Open AI Lab (NAIL) celebrates their 5th anniversary. This milestone was marked with a whole-day event at NTNU.
In the morning, NTNU rector Anne Borg and NAIL leader Trym Holter welcomed partners of NAIL for coffee and cake.
Professor and DIG manager Bram Timmermans participated on behalf of DIG.
Partners in NAIL took the opportunity highlighted the many instances how collaborating with this cutting-edge research center led to immediate results and impact in the development of their products and services.
Throughout the laboratory, PhD students at NAIL demonstrated their cutting-edge AI research that they conducted in close collaboration with NAIL’s business partners.
In the afternoon, the event moved to a plenary session in FRAM-NTNU, where the audience was treated to presentations and panel discussions organized by NAIL and student association BRAIN.
The HUB and DIG want to congratulate NAIL with their anniversary and prolonged collaboration to strengthen Norway’s abilities to create and capture value of digital innovations.
