We have developed it for executives and managers who want to improve their sustainability efforts. It provides managers with knowledge and skills for identifying green innovation opportunities and designing business models that allow them to achieve sustainable value creation”.

The module provides knowledge that enables the candidates to evaluate their current business models and gives insights on how relevant sustainability issues can function as strategic competitive advantages. A focal learning outcome is to equip participants with applicable tools and abilities to embrace new, profitable business opportunities based on circular economy principles, emission reduction and green business model innovation. All lessons encourage participant interaction and knowledge-sharing, inviting enrolled candidates to discuss their own organizations’ business models, strategies, and sustainability performance. The teaching will be a combination of sessions on campus in Bergen and Oslo, an international excursion and digital meetings.

The course is highly relevant for executives and managers in private businesses within a broad range of industries and public administration. This includes professionals in analytical positions evaluating or implementing sustainability measures, consultants and board members. Additionally, the module is targeted towards Chief Sustainability Officers, Business Development Managers and others aiming to rig their organizations for green innovation.

The program duration is 12 months, starting February 5th. 2021. Applications will be processed on a rolling basis until maximum capacity is reached. Candidates completing the programme achieve 30 ECTS at master level.
