About the conference

The conference will focus on exploring how people with different income levels are taxed and the implications for wealth distribution during unstable times.

Academics and policy makers will discuss economic mobility, analyzing how individuals and businesses navigate the tax landscape to either capitalize on or mitigate the effects of unrest. 

The conference will serve as a forum to address the instability inherent in such periods, assessing how tax policies can either exacerbate or alleviate societal tensions.

The Nordic Tax Research Council

NSFR consists of members from the five Nordic countries. The purpose of the research council is to promote Nordic cooperation in tax research, particularly on issues of common Nordic interest. NSFR supports both tax law and tax economics research and collaboration.
