Applied research projects on logistics and scheduling: Experiences from Argentina

Abstract

This talk will report on research conducted by the operations research and graph theory group at the Instituto de Cálculo in the University of Buenos Aires, in collaboration with industry, public entities, and various research centres and international collaborators. The main part of the talk will report on applications of operations research techniques in a series of real-world problems, including logistics, transport, production planning, scheduling, and auctions. The talk will also overview other research projects on sports analytics and graph theory.
