One of those who entered full-time employment last year, is NHH graduate Parth Sarna (28). He is a consultant at EY-Parthenon in his hometown Oslo.
‘For me, professional and personal development was key when choosing the right job, as well as the opportunity to thrive at work.’
Sarna is also Platoon Commander at the Norwegian National Guard, Bjørn West in Bergen. This is a part-time job, where he is responsible for education and follow-up of the soldiers in his platoon.
‘Strong quality culture’
As many as 93 per cent reported getting a job while they were still a student. This was also the case for Sarna. He received the job offer at EY-Parthenon one year before he finished his studies at NHH.
‘First, I had an internship at EY, which gave me a unique opportunity to get to know the company and the people who work here better. I was offered a permanent position at the end of this period.’
NHH Rector Øystein Thøgersen is delighted that Sarna and the rest of the 2023 graduates are excelling in the labour market.
‘There is a strong quality culture at NHH, and our candidates are sought-after both in the domestic and the international labor market. We educate excellent business economists and future leaders with sound analytical skills, a good understanding of technology, broad social competence and a strong commitment to society,’ says Thøgersen.
