Read the application requirements listed below carefully. Admission results will be announced in late January.

  • Only students already enrolled at NHH can apply for a place in the CEMS MIM programme.
  • If you are a bachelor student at NHH, you may apply for the CEMS MIM programme in the last year of your bachelor degree. Your CEMS MIM year will then be the first year of your master degree at NHH.
  • If you are already a master student at NHH you must apply in the first semester of your master degree. Students starting in both autumn and spring semester are welcome to apply. Your CEMS MIM year will then be the second year of your master degree at NHH.
  • Students on leave cannot apply for the CEMS programme
  • You cannot apply to both the CEMS and the Double Degree programme. Students who have already been admitted into the Double Degree programme will not be considered for the CEMS programme

  As a general rule, you cannot go on exchange to a country where you have citizenship.

  Upload the following documents to your application:

  1. Transcript from previous higher education
  2. Letter of motivation, in English
     • Maximum one page
  3. Curriculum Vitae/resumé, in English
  4. Any relevant language certificates

• Language Requirements

  Language Requirements

  You are required to have a good command of the English language. You will be judged as having met this standard:

  • if your native language is English
  • if you have completed a bachelor degree fully taught in English 

  All other applicants must take either a TOEFL or IELTS test. 

  The minimum standard for test scores that NHH accepts are:

  • TOEFL - a total score of 100 points on the internet-based test.
  • IELTS- a score of 7.0

  TOEFL / IELTS scores must be from within the last two years.

  Other languages: While a third language is an exit requirement for CEMS, you are required to list your current language/s, as well as proposed third language in your application. (This third language can be changed later). For those of you for whom a 'Declaration of Mother Tongue' is relevant, fill in the attached form and include it in your application.

  You submit your online application by registering at the NHH application portal on the CEMS global website. Do not create an account before you are in the NHH CEMS application portal.

  After submitting the online application form you must send a copy of your online application form and the attachments to cems@nhh.no by 2 November at the latest.
