Admission Requirements 

To meet the admission requirements, you must have completed a bachelor’s degree or education equivalent to 180 ECTS credits from a university and/or a university college.

In addition, a minimum of three years of relevant work experience after completing your education is required.

Admission based on prior learning and work experience 

If you do not have education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or 180 ECTS credits, it may be possible to apply for admission based on prior learning and work experience.

To meet the admission requirements, you must document the following educational background and work experience:

• At least two years of higher education equivalent to a minimum of 120 ECTS credits from a publicly accredited university and/or university college.
• At least eight years of relevant work experience.
• The applicant must be at least 25 years old at the time of application.

The assessment of prior learning and work experience applies to a specific study programme and is not a general assessment.

Credits from vocational technical colleges 

Credits from vocational technical colleges are not accepted as a basis for admission to EMBA programmes.

For NHH to assess/process your application, it must be complete.

You must upload the necessary documentation showing that you meet the admission requirements:

• Updated CV
• Diploma and transcript of grades from higher education

NHH has access to results from other public universities or university colleges and universities. The results that appear in the Diploma Registry will also appear for NHH. If you have education from BI Norwegian Business School or education from abroad, you must upload the documentation.

• Confirmation of three years of relevant work experience

The confirmation must include the duration, position, and signature from the employer by the manager or HR department (CV or employment contract is not sufficient documentation).
