Honest and effective communication in organizations
On Thursday 25 March 2021 Joel W. Berge will hold a trial lecture on a prescribed topic and defend his thesis for the PhD degree at NHH.
I work at the intersection of ethics and profitability. My work focuses on using experiments to study how individuals and organizations make ethical trade-offs in different business contexts. I am particularly interested in understanding how individual and organizational values, as well as external factors such as regulatory environments and social norms, influence ethical decision-making. Through my research, I hope to contribute to a deeper understanding of how we can promote ethical behavior in businesses and ultimately create more sustainable and profitable organizations.
