Ibrahim Pelja is a Research Scholar at the Department of Accounting, Auditing, and Law at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). He received his Master’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration with Research Distinction in 2018, majoring in Business Analysis and Performance and minoring in Finance. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration from NHH.
Ibrahim is affiliated with the Financial Accounting research group and the topic of his research is corporate financial distress. He co-authored a master thesis on the topic, the results of which are published in Magma.
ESG reporting is crucial, in order to make real progress towards a sustainable future. Hussnain Bashir and Ibrahim Pelja are therefore starting a new master´s course. `The most important element of the course being that companies need to be transparent and honest´, Bashir says.
