Björn is an Associate Professor for Strategy and Organization at NHH Norwegian School of Economics. He received his PhD in Social and Economic Sciences (Dr.rer.soc.oec.) from WU Vienna University of Economics and Business in 2018. Björn joined the Department of Strategy and Management at NHH in 2022, where he is a member of the Strategy Group and of DIG, Norway’s leading research center on digital transformation and innovation for sustainable growth.
His research and teaching centers on topics of Global and Corporate Strategy related to the boundaries of the firm and the benefits of related diversification. He studies these phenomena in a cross-country context using quantitative methods.
Björn holds a second affiliation with WU Vienna University of Economics and Business at the Department of Global Business and Trade.
