Does it pay off to quota women onto boards?

Norway was a pioneering country with requirements for the proportion of women on Norwegian corporate boards. Now California has followed with similar requirements. This has led to a heated debate, similar to the one we had earlier in Norway, says Professor Karin Thorburn at NHH.
