Even the good lectures are not good enough
Chronicle by Jan Ubøe: I may be stupid, but even a short time after very good lectures I hardly remember anything from them.
Suddenly, the number of students who chose to skip lectures at NHH has increased dramatically. My colleagues at the University of Oslo, Department of Mathematics, tell me about similar experiences.
But maybe the problem is stubborn and outdated lecturers, rather than students lacking prerequisites, Jan Ubøe writes. His chronicle Selv de gode forelesningene er for dårlige (in Norwegian) was published in Bergens Tidende on January 16, 2018.
