    SPA13 Economy and society in the Hispanic world is the most advanced Spanish course at NHH and it presupposes SPA10 and SPA20 (former SPA11/SPA12). The focus is on economy, society and politics in the Hispanic world, as well as written and oral professional communication.

  • Learning outcome

    General knowledge

    On completion of the course, the student has:

    - solid practical knowledge about the Spanish language system

    - a good knowledge about important aspects of economy, society and politics in Spain and Latin-America

    - a general knowledge about business culture and communication in the Hispanic world

    Skills

    Upon completion of the course the student can

    - write essays in Spanish about topics related to Spain and /or Latin-America

    - produce general non-fiction or economic-administrative texts in Spanish

    - conduct a conversation in Spanish and present a topic from the course literature

    - communicate in writing and orally in a business context

    General competence

    Upon completion of the course, the student can

    - communicate in writing and orally in Spanish

    - keep updated in economics, society and politics in the Hispanic world
