In order to mark Professor Agnar Sandmo's (1938 -2019) long contribution to the field as well as his international standing, NHH established two annual institutions when he retired at the age of 70 on 9 January 2008: The Sandmo Lecture and the Sandmo Jr. Visiting Fellowship.
