Are ecosystems a useful concept in the world of business, or should they be consigned to the dustbin of history like so many forgotten buzzwords of bygone eras?
Nicolas Gibney is a PhD Research Scholar at the department of Strategy and Management at the Norwegian School of Economics. He in addition holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from NHH, as well as a CEMS Masters in International Management.
Nicolas’ research, carried out as part of the RaCE (Radical Technology-Driven Change in Established Firms), focuses on studying the formation, growth, and dynamics of business ecosystems, particularly in the payments and banking industry.
Before beginning at NHH, Nicolas worked as a Fraud and Anti-Money Laundering Analyst at American Express in Chicago, USA.
