Erik Lang is a PhD candidate at the Department of Strategy and Management at the Norwegian School of Economics. He is supervised by Bram Timmermans and Ivan Belik and is affiliated with the DIG Digital Innovation for Sustainable Growth research center. His research interest comprise innovation economics and strategy, with a particular interest in disruptive technologies and their economic and societal impact.
Lang holds an MSc in Business and Management from the Stockholm School of Economics, as well as BEng degrees in Automotive Engineering from Tongji University in Shanghai and Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in Wolfsburg.
Before joining the Norwegian School of Economics, Lang worked at the European Central Bank in the Directorate General Economics in the Forecasting and Policy Modelling department. Furthermore, he held positions at the Volkswagen Group, founded a digital marketing agency, and was a venture capital analyst at Antler.
